2020: Recycled Water Campaign Receives Top Honors in California

Public education about the quality and benefits of recycled water is an important part of a sustainable water supply in California. IRWD’s Recycled Water 101 Campaign was honored to be recognized by WateReuse California with the organization’s 2020 Outreach and Public Education Award. The campaign featured a fun and informative video, public outreach materials in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Farsi, and articles and social media posts showcasing the many benefits recycled water brings to our communities.
