IRWD Launches New Customer-Friendly Website

IRWD is proud to announce the launch of our new next-generation website at www.irwd.com, offering a fresh look and feel. The site is not only aesthetically pleasing, but features relevant content with simple navigation. IRWD’s commitment to high quality customer service shines through via the new site -- enabling customers to enjoy site visits, whether it be to pay their bill, learn more about where water comes from or tips to help conserve.

The redesigned website features new technology to make the website experience better for our customers. The content features current information about IRWD’s services and programs, including simple ways to pay water bills, our innovative recycled water program and all things conservation in the www.alwayswatersmart.com section.

Customers can learn more about IRWD, where our water comes from and how it’s treated. There are also plenty of tips, tools and resources for all of our customers for all things water and water conservation. Surf our new website and learn about such upcoming events as our Fall Landscape Open House and resident tours. Check out the Water Quality section to view the latest water quality report or get self help on water quality issues. Find out how IRWD cleans up urban runoff before it enters the Newport Back Bay. Learn how to read your water meter, check for water leaks that can cause a high water bill and how to check your water pressure regulator.

IRWD first entered the Internet age with its then-new website in 1997. The current redesign is the District’s third site. Visitors can easily access the District’s social media pages like You Tube, Facebook and Twitter. The District has been participating in social media since April 2009 and our new technology-friendly website provides a framework to help grow and sustain those effective social media efforts.
