FAQ for Sprinkler Repair Program
Getting started
Q. Who is eligible for the Sprinkler Repair Program?
A. IRWD customers in good financial standing (no delinquencies on IRWD bills in the last 12 months) are eligible to apply. Applicant must currently have an existing, functional in-ground irrigation system installed at the property.
Q. Is this program only for residential customers?
A. No, the Sprinkler Repair Program is also available to commercial customers.
Q. How do I start the process?
A. The first step is to complete the sign-up form and agree to the terms and conditions.
Q. Are there any fees?
A. Yes, there is an initial evaluation fee of $137.50, which is half the landscape evaluation fee. IRWD will continue to pick up half the cost once you move into Tier 1 or Tier 2, plus any additional components. View the pricing sheet.
Q. When will I get scheduled for my repairs?
A. After IRWD staff have verified your eligibility, your information will be sent to Conserv Inc, the program contractor. Conserv will email you an invoice for the required one-hour evaluation. After customers pay the invoice ($137.50), they will be scheduled for the evaluation.
Q. Do I have to go through with the program after the evaluation?
A. No. While IRWD hopes you take advantage of the great and affordable program – which is offered to you at up to half the cost – customers are not required to participate after the evaluation.
Q. What does the program cover?
A. Please refer to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 program pricing sheet.
Q. How long is the evaluation phase?

A. Unfortunately, the Sprinkler Repair Program is only for repairs to the existing sprinkler system. The program does not cover upgrades to sprinklers that are working correctly.
Repairs
Q. What if I need a few more repairs outside of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels?

A. Yes, the irrigation tech will adjust your current timer if you like. The tech will review your watering during the evaluation phase and make recommendations for adjustments based upon the current programming.
Q. Will the contractor be able to replace my old sprinkler timer with a smart timer?
A. Yes, you have the option to upgrade your current timer to a weather-based irrigation controller at the time of your sprinkler repairs. The upgrade is not offered at the 50% share of cost like the Sprinkler Repair Program but does come with a rebate (see IRWD.com/rebates for details).
