Canon USA

Canon USA and its group companies, whose headquarters stands on Alton Parkway in Irvine, turned themselves into WaterStars in October 2018 by focusing on conservation inside and out, as part of their commitment to environmental stewardship. Indoors, the company replaced all showerheads with efficient models and installed faucet aerators, saving about 225,000 gallons of drinking water per year. As a result, the headquarters uses only 77% of its water budget. An upcoming project will build on that progress by replacing all inefficient toilets and urinals. Outdoors, Canon USA irrigates with recycled water, saving 6.8 million gallons of drinking water per year.
